Youth Development Through Sports
Using football as its medium, YDTS strives to build leadership and hope for Cincinnati youth while encouraging academic achievement and community involvement. Through grants from the MLCF, costs associated with equipment, uniforms, field, and referee fees are offset.

Coaching Clinic
The MLCF Coaching Clinic features the Bengals coaching staff instructing
nearly 250 youth, middle school and
high school football coaches. The
curriculum includes seven essential
areas needed to properly train coaches
in teaching the game to young people
while running a successful and safe
program in a positive learning environment. |

Play It Smart
Play It Smart, an educational program targeted at high school football players from economically disadvantaged environments where family and community support are often lacking, is designed to transform student-athletes’ passion for sport and intense dedication to their team into a force for greater good in their lives. |

Learning Is Cool
A program that will work within the Cincinnati Public School System with students in grade K - 8. In 2005 and 2006, MLCF only included Youth Football players in its Youth Development Through Sports program; the Learning is Cool program makes this opportunity available to all students. |
